As per DIN 15 560 respectively EN 60598-2-17

The spotlights are manufactured with different variable focal lenth (zoom). Those with long focal lenth are used as profiles or followspots. When mounted on the stage those with a medium or short focal lenth are used for sidelighting rows of scenery or exactly illuminating the scenery. Silhouttes can be projected with gobos which are inserted in a corresponding slide-unit.

All the units are using of condenser type combined with a zoom optic.

The units are made out of steel with black epoxy powder coating. They can be opened from the top for easy maintenence and replacement of lamps. Together with the mirror the lamp is mounted on a movable slide which is adjusted by means of a spindle. The units are self-cooling which means that fan cooling is unnecessary. There are 3 extra walls in the housing: on the right, left and back side to avoid too high temperature on the surface outside.

There are always three insertion grooves in accordance with DIN 15 560, part 38, to accommodate the accessories; they have locking device to keep the accessories from falling out unintentionally. The units are always supplied with protective grating and

The housing is mounted on a yoke with 5 holes for fixing.
